stinkie steam?

You had the right idea, probabably a little odor off the thread cutting oil, and a sensitive nose. If you have a skim valve on the boiler use it, or blow it down, or try some of that Silver King stuff that takes the oil off the top and makes it drop down. Works pretty good, don't use to much. Squick I think it's called. Good luck.

stinkie steam
Just the other day we replaced some 2" steam line's that were failing, seemed very simple. Now ( from way out in left field) the customer calls and complains that the steam has a very unplesant ordor. I've not been to the house yet( I used the old stand by" lets wait for a few day and see if it goes away") anyway any help or ideas? Thanks
