    STEAM BOILER BANGING AT BOILER RETURN

    I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH A REPLACEMENT GAS FIRED UTICA 187 STEAM BOILER BANGING IN THE RETURN PIPING. I KNOW THE BOILER IS INSTALLED AS PER MANUFACTURES INSTRUCTIONS. I HAVE A 1 1/2" WET RETURN COMING BACK TO THE BOILER W/ 1 1/2" EQUALIZER LINE, 2" SUPPLIES FROM EACH SIDE OF THE BOILER GOING TO A 3" HEADER, NEW QUICK VENTS AT THE END OF TWO 2" SUPPLY MAINS***IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THE BANGING IS COMMING FROM A CLOGGED RETURN*** BOILER IS CLEAN OF OIL & DIRT

    Were is the banging at? In the wet return, or dry return, or near the boiler by the hartford loop.
