Looking 4 source for Vent-rite #1 adj. valves...
Anyone know an internet site I can purchase Vent-Rite #1 Adjustable valves for my 1 pipe steam radiators? Retail by mail would work too...THANK YOU!
ps-I have hoffman's now, which whistle a harmonic sound when air passes thru...heard the whistling noise is less or non-existant with the vent-rite valves...true?0 -
Ventrite
My experience with VR1's is that they don't vent enough air even in their max setting to be terribly useful. People here swear by Gorton's and I have had great luck with Gorton's as well.
Do you have appropriately sized main vents? If not, I'd focus your attention on this first.
