Can I get a Vaillant boiler for use in the states? If so how?

    Pat,

Like Mr. Dragon, not one of my favorites either.Definately not the worst boiler ever made, but few and far between in most areas.

They stopped delivering to the states in the late 80's/ early 90's, but parts are still available...Whole units, I would doubt highly unless some wholesaler hasn't yet stipped one for parts.

Basic same design can now be found from a multitude of other suppliers. 3 pass is now becoming a popular design and is available from Burnham in their new MPO units. Buderus,Biasi and Weil Mclain are others that come to mind. W/M has released their "Ultra" oil boiler recently. I'm sure there are many more too.

Stick with something that your repair and service folks will be able to get parts for, readily. Name brand is only as good as their training and support. JMHO. Chris
