Oil boiler--convert to gas

Does anyone know if the Buderus G215 can be converted to gas-fired, and how difficult/costly it would be to retrofit? No way I will ever swap out a perfectly good oil boiler for a gas one, but I do have a gas line in the house and I am weighing options for maintaining flexibility with different fuel sources given the trend in oil prices these days. I'm having a difficult time finding an oil company that will do cap contracts or locked-in rates these days here in the western suburbs of Boston. Do I need to think about chimney lining too? What are the considerations in doing such a conversion. Am I just off my rocker? Thanks for the opinions/advice as always.

oil to gas
Any oil appliance can be converted to gas. Gas prices are going up also and if the boiler is not set up right, gas could still cost more than oil. Oil flames are much hotter than gas flames which means the gas burner would have to be set to run at maximum flame.0 -
I never saw Buderus certifying a gas burner
for their residential oil boilers. I'm sure Joe@Buderus will chime in on this one.0 -
The companies in Central Mass are still doing caps and budgets.
