    I'm impressed

It's a rare thing to see these before and after pictures without lots of lighting and decor changes. Kudos to the people for having a product that looks good and resisting the urge to "bump it up a bit."

    nice

But $20 per foot or so. Nearly as expensive as Runtal. Been using different brands of baseboard since early 70's and always wondered why something more attractive and durable hasn't come along. Homes built in the 50's have the same style as what's out there now.

    Scott,

Buy on line, just 25.20/foot... plus end caps and cpplgs ($35 ea).

Now you know why they call it overboard!!!

I know, I have your case in the garage. You around Labor Day weekend?

    The obvious advantage

is not having to replace the existing fin-tube, which would require draining the system. I know a lady whose baseboard housings are pretty beat-up where these should work nicely.

At the NJ Home Show, there were...

several vendors of similar products, one who specialized in "traditional" covers and enclosures for radiators, but in just about any color or finish you could imagine, also they would finish panelrads in ANY color. Another vendor had replacement baseboard covers, available in any color or finish, but also with decorative cutouts like moose & pine trees for the cabin, teddybears & balloons for the nursery, starfish & umbrellas for the shore house, and many others. They would even customize it. They were heavy gauge, and included end caps & joiners. Email me for more info.

    Radiant Heat???

Am I missing something, or have I been mislead all these years, that "baseboard" heaters are convection heaters. Does the material composition of these coverings provide radiant transference? For that kind of money, I could save bundles by installing Spirotube, and have a finish carpenter customize and enclosure.
