    Round Radiators

Appear to be steam only. Likely rather high output in a limited space. Could be wonderful for a kitchen remodel as it takes very little wall space. Could even be incorporated into cabinetry. I see it in an island or at the end of a peninsula. You'll loose some convection if you cover the top, but a creative cabinet maker could incorporate air passages--think heated counter top...

    John, they should work OK

on your Broomell. BTW, is this John at Laurier?

You can substitute an ordinary trap for the water seal. Find and plug the vent holes on the rads. Remove the old valve with the neck crack, get a matched pair of new valves. Ken Kunz has some new-old-stock beauties at Gorton's offices.

Check out this thread for some more Bundys that may not work out for their intended use:

it is Steamhead...thinking about putting them in the mudroom
just off of the playroom...in place of the existing baseboard..do you think I can get away without the "ell's"...or do I need to swipe a couple from the second floor hw instalation...btw, do you think they would look sharp there? I suppose rectilinear is better because of window heat loss...........John

That's what I had in mind too

you can substitute thermostatic traps for the Broomell water-seal ells. Use ones that vent rather slowly like Hoffman 17C traps, they will be a closer match for the venting rate of a Broomell ell.

Call me some evening please, I need to bounce something else off of you.....
