Our 1920s house is missing some of those metal disks that split into two and cover the hole where the radiator pipe comes through the wood floor.
Our hardware store doesn't have any, and I am not finding any with google because I don't know what they are called.
Could someone tell me what they are called, and maybe a source for a variety of sizes (one pipe is 2")? Thanks!0 -
Same word as Spanish for \"LISTEN\"...
Escutcheon (Eh SKUH chun)
In your case, you'd need split ring escutcheons.
Try googling chrome pipe escutcheons

escutcheon
n. The shield on which armorial bearings are emblazoned.
Interesting to here where the word came from. We looked up the spelling so many times we underlined it
