Great Fathers Day -- How about you ?

We had my dad over for dinner tonight and afterward he came to watch my son play his last baseball game of the season. Our umpire never showed or called so I split duties with a dad from the opposing team, calling balls and strikes while my son's team was batting. I did a pretty darn good job. My biggest fear was calling balls and strikes on my son. Luckily he walked on a way outside pitch the first time and singled the second time. I was off the hook!

Happy belated Father's Day to all dads and grandads!

    I got

Coffee and breakfast in bed. The newspaper brought to me.

The most fun was the Big Bang cannon my wife and boys bought me. You know the one's with the bangzite calcium carbonite !

We took it outside and the boys and I shot off a couple of opening salvo's :).

Went for a sail with one of my buddys and then a cookout right at the harbor.

Ended up with a little " adult time" after the boys were a sleep.

Man I better start working on next Mothers Day now ;).

    Gift

Wife gave me a shop vac -- hint hint.

I told her I'd prefer an Adirondack chair.

    Oh what a perfect day!

    Scott,
I also had a great day, I got a CD from my son Alistair and a book from Isla and Angus, but the best gift was to spend the day with them, they are great kids and we always have a great time.

My heart goes out to the McDad's(they are the poor guys who can only spent a little time with their kids, and take them to McDonalds for a treat)they and their kids deserve better. Please support Fathers4Justice. http://www.fathers-4-justice.org/
    Thanks very much for reading.
