I have a job where an interior wall will be built around an existing perimeter fin tube radiation with enclosure. The contractor will fabricate a sheet metal enclosure where the wall will be built. I would like to place some sort of insulation where the fin tube passes thru the new wall to prevent sound transmission. Does anyone have any suggestions? I need something that will withstand standard hot water heating temps while also preventing sound from being transmitted thru the wall.
Thanks
