    What thermostat to use??

Can anyone help me with specing out a thermostat. The customer was using a Honeywell PC8900/W8900 to run the heating, cooling, humidifier, and air exchanger. W8900 went south and will not operate correctly. Honeywell has discontinued the PC8900/W8900. So does anyone know what can be used in place of it to run the same amount of equipment. I only have five wires to the main stat.

    Any help would be great.

    Thank, Helgy

    I don't have a real good answer...

but here goes. Use a Visionpro stat, T8110U1003 with the remote outside air temp sensor, C7089U1006. That will provide you with the temperature control, programmable fan, OA temp indication, filter change reminder etc. Use an H1008A1008 humidity control for the humidifier, and mount it on the duct in the basement. You might also need a transformer to power it, but that should minimize the extra wiring. The VisionPro stat is battery powered, so you can use your existing 4 wires from the PC8900 to connect it, (RWYG).
