Design Stages: Help Needed

I have a house which heated with a steam boiler with a basement zone for many years. I have now added a loop of radiant to the 2nd floor bathroom in masonry floor and three equal loops of radiant to the new wood floors in the living room and dining room. At the same time, I removed numerous cast iron radiators from these rooms. As mentioned above, the steam boiler also has a basement loop drawn from below the water level. I now am relocating my boiler room and would like to design the appropriate system to accomodate my four different types of heating in four different zones. While I am at it, I will remove my gas fired hot water heater and install an indirect fired water heater of some sort. Although I am a heating contractor, I want to aquire advice on system design so I dont miss the oppurtunity to use any new ideas I might not be aware of.
* Do I use a single gas fired steam boiler with a coil for the radiant?
* Do I pull the boiler water from this steam boiler for the indirect hot water heater?
* Do I use a on demand hot water heater?
* Do I use a modulated hot water heater?
* Can a steam boiler handle numerous steam radiators, a single 100ft loop of radiant in a masonry floor in a small bathroom, three 300ft loops of radiant under new 3/4 oak flooring, a basement hydronic loop of 23ft of Slant Fin 30 baseboard and one 16 section "Sunrad" acting as a free standing radiator on the basment loop as well as an indirect hot water heater?
* Should I install a small steam boiler and a small hydronic unit to seperate the load?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Ya got alot happening with that steamer there. Its sounds like most of the house is already forced water, and with your future relocating of the unit I'd (depending on the heatloss) get a small water boiler to handle it. Just curious as to which steam boiler do you have? If you have a newer WM EG series, you could convert the whole system over to forced water with the existing unit.

You are right, there is a lot of forced water. Here is how the house lays out.

2nd floor has three bedrooms still getting steam heat to cast iron baseboard. 12ft 11ft and 7ft. Next is the 100ft loop of Weil McLain 1/2 inch Alumipex in the bathroom.

1st floor has a 14 section "Sunrad" recessed steam radiator in the kitchen, a 6 section "Sunrad" in the bathroom and a 12 section 4" wide thin tube 25" high free standing cast iron steam radiator in the front vestibule. The living room and dining room have just been done in three 300 ft loops of Weil McLain Alumipex radiant with 3/4 oak flooring directly on top of the tubing and emmission plates. Note: this radiant in the wood floor has never been used and is waiting for the new system.
Basement has 23ft of Slant Fin 30 baseboard and a "Sunrad cast iron radiator (16 section) under the water level of the steam boiler.

Forced water sounds great but how do I heat one pipe steam baseboard radiators on the second floor?
