My family thinks I spend too much time in front of the boiler and perhaps I do have an unusual hobby, but I just enjoy this stuff (maybe I'm in the wrong profession). Anyway, I've always found myself checking which zones are calling and now it will be much easier. 24 volt LED's fit nicely. Thanks to Hotrod for the idea. His circulator lights inspired me. But I think I've run out of things to do. I've changed it to pumping away, added outdoor reset, and replaced the indirect as well. If gas prices get high enough, the boiler will be changed to a modulating/condensing unit.

my taco controller has little led lights on the side of it to indicate the zone, and I look in on it every time I am in the basement....Just gotta know.

Lights
These lights are really a great idea. When servicing it is easy to see what is energized and should be running or open. I don't understand why manufacturers don't just put them on since they are so cheap. The lights only save a few minutes per call, but over a day it adds up to something.
