looking for wiring diagram
for 832 switching relays, can they be wired to start a multi zone system as a 845? they are existing relays going to a 8124c,just wired wrong.thanks Dave0 -
Dave, the 832 is typically
a relay used on gas as the "X X" terminals can only be used for 24 volts or millivolts. The #3 and #4 terminals are both 120 volts when the relay is energized and are fed internally in the relay (no jumpers). I have never seen them wired to "ZR" / "ZC" as I have the 845's.0 -
Do you want to
control the triple aquastat with the 832s ? If there is no zone right now connected to C1 in the aquastat , you can run the X-X terminals of each relay to the T-T terminals of the aquastat . It'll knock up the temp to the high limit of the aquastat on a call for heat .0 -
thats
what I did Ron,had a amtrol in place that wasn't wired right. When I replaced it w/ a phase3 I added a 832 and wired off xx to tt on 8124. Pulled low limit wire too so its cold start, thanks Dave0
