Question on CO Experts monitor (Dan H.)

Dan,

You could send it in and buy a new sensor. I think the price is rather high though. When the CO sensor goes bad you get that mesage.

I have replaced mine with new co monitors when I get that error.

He does have a website if you want to find out more.

    If I'm getting

the code for sensor error, do I need to replace the unit, or can it be repaired? Thanks.

    Hello Dan.

On my Bacharach, Fyrite pro unit the sensors need to be replaces as they fail due to either malfunction or excessive contamination. I would contact the manufacturer and see what they recommend to do in your case.

Dan this is from the instruction I have.

Replacement Warning [End of Life]: Monitor Display Shows “SenSOr End” for 5 Seconds each
Min. as the Monitor Beeps a single Beep and RED LED Flashes once a Min.
