An Inconvenient Truth Pt 2

I started this since I suspect there's more to be said on this huge topic that will cause loading problems if thread #1 continues.
As an informed HO who has not yet done much research on GW,
I'm more interested in what we as individuals and what governments CAN immediately do to deal with harmful things we KNOW man is responsible for: global pollution, global waste of energy, etc. (Last I heard our government was trying to allow coal-fired plants back.)
I don't see our national leaders using the bully pulpit promoting a short list of ways that we all can sacrifice and contribute to solving the known problems.
The Wall by definition is part of the solution by promoting energy conservation, education and civil debate. Without the Wall, it is doubtful I would have properly insulated my house or started down the path to installing a ModCon boiler, indirect HWH and piping improvements. Of course if every homeowner in the country needing new hydronic boiler wanted a mod con tomorrow, there wouldn't be enough competent installers in the country to do it.
Onward,
David
