Allis Chalmers Pump?

Allis Chalmers became Deutz Allis in the 80's and then became AGCO in the 90's. AGCO bought a lot of the smaller brands. Hesston, Gleaner, and Massey Ferguson among many others.

Implement manufacturers, like most manufacturers, have seen a lot of consolidation over the past 30 years. Steiger and Case became part of International Harvester. Versatile became part of Ford. At least we still have John Deere.

    Allis Chalmers Pump Information?

I am looking for information (pump curves etc.) on an Allis-Chalmers Pump, 1.5 x 1.5, Type L, Model C3, 8" Impeller, 1750 RPM 2 HP 3 Phase Motor. The nameplate didn't list gpm and head.

If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it.

    Thanks,

You might try the messageboard at www.allischalmers.com

Perhaps an implement dealer that used to carry their tractors and other equipment.

Looks like Allis-Chalmers was bought out over 20 years ago by a German company.

    Allis Chalmers Pump Division

    Brant:

If I recall correctly, I believe the pump division from Allis Chalmers was sold to ITT -- Goulds.
They have a division called either ITT -- A-C Pumps or Goulds A-C pumps.

If you contact a Goulds rep or distributor, he should be able to help you. You can also try the web site below for starters... Good Luck.

    small correction Andrew

Case bought IH, not the other way around. The use the IH name for better recognition. Case was the smaller company as far as farm equipment goes, but was bigger globally and involved in manufacturing, mining, a well diversified company.
