Buderus 2107

I noticed that the circulator pumps switch off when changing from the day mode (70*) to the night mode (66*).Is this because the room temperature is still 70* and that the pumps are off because no additional heat is needed. Will the pumps switch on again when the temperature reaches the night setting of 66*.

your pumps go off at night because on the control your bfu is (rmsetback) and your outdoor temperature is above freeze temp

so if your control freeze temp is set to 30 and it's 35F outside it will turn the pumps off at night till the temp drops below 30 then it will turn back on.

if you want to change it i can call you and walk you though the programing.

how do you like the bfu? i love mine

    thanks

The BFU is doing a great job so far. Last night the out side temprature was around 40* and my night set back was 66*. When the pumps switched off it was 70* in the house.
By morning it had just reached 66* in the house. I guess it was too warm for the pumps to be on at night. When it swithed to the day time setting everthing was normal. What do you think?

Paul that's 100% normal. but first what do you have your setback at (rmsetback)? or oasetback or boiler shutdown.

I'm sure you have it at (rmsetback) if you have the bfu it will shut the pumps down at night if your outdoor temperature is above the freeze temp setting on your control

and come on in day mode and stay on all day constant circulation

    thanks

you said that Jason. I am going to assume that when in the night mode and if the temperature goes below the night setting of 66* the pumps will go on. Thanks for your replies.
