Attaching Tubing to Existing Slab
I am consulting on radiant job that has had a bad beginning.
The original contractor didn't do an adequate heat loss calc. Then they ran less tube than they should have and left water in it over the winter. Slab froze. Slab cracked in several places. Homeowners are understandibly upset.
Does anyone know of any methods of attaching new tube to the slab for a 2nd pour over the top? All I can think of is putting down 6 x 6 mesh and attaching to that.0 -
pex rails...
attach them to the floor and then stick the pex right in....kpc
