    Friend near Boston: Southshore area - Oil fired boiler job

    I have a freind who lives near Boston in the Southshore area. Owns and runs a field service contracting business (you guys would love some of his equipment...).

    Has an older oil fired boiler.

    He tells me that he is tired of contributing to global warming as so much heat goes up the chiminey through the firetubes.

    I promised him I'd get him some names of decent folks.

    Job won't be until summer as he is very busy working power plant outages.

    He knows the reputation of Viessmann - but is not sure he wants to spend the $$$$ for one. I told him that I'm not sure he would really spend more, but there were other good boilers out there.

    I know there are other options (system 2000 perhaps).

    So let me know who he should have on his call list. I only want to send him the best so that he can get a decent job (and he will appreciate a decent job as well).

    And what kind of equipment. I understand he has hot water heat, although I probably won't be able to confirm that for sure for about a month or so as I believe he just deployed to a job.
