And in a bad eviroment they will go sooner. Replace the whole set up motor ,fan and maybe the shroud.. What ever you can get .You will never remove the fan and if you do it will be warped and will make noise. Then you will eat the job...

Induced draft blower motor question
I'm an experienced oil tech and have some gas experience. I have a Rheem war air furnace in a crawl space that's a bit dusty down there. The furnace stopped working. Upon my exam the induced draft blower motor wasn't coming up to speed, barely turning. I blew through both hoses, and kept turning the induced blower motor. The motor proceeded to get up to full speed.
Question 1) Is blower motor on way out or could have dirt been lodged in there???
Question 2) Anything else I could have done to correct situation???0 -
Thanks Big Ed I took your advice and changed out the whole assembly...0
