    A Serious Drinking Problem?

Actually what you have is The Mother of All Frost-Free Freezers....

You have heard of freeze-drying? Seriously, this is the same principle. The ice cubes are evaporating, transferring to vapor from the solid state due to extreme dry conditions in the freezer.

Two days is fast though... I would check your dog or cat, see if they sleep late, cannot hold a job and make social gaffes yet think they are funny.

    Missing Ice

Two thoughts, Sublimation for the disappearing ice cubes; and do not try to make ice cubes from hot water. Because even though they freeze faster they do not cool your drink off as well.
