and since we've all said that allready, I mean Back To The Wall.
Funny it seems like yesterday that you first came to the wall as Marks Partner and we all felt sorry for you.
Marks been drinking for six months and crying that you did all the work and whats he to do. Asking ALOT of questions about Radiant and how to solder ... its been pretty sad.
Glad to have you back Pal. Like many here I look forward to some cold ones. Maybe some clams huh ?

Readjustment time
I have been "off the grid" so to speak since I have been home. Alot of transition in coming back to my family and friends to say the least. I can only imagine that the longer you are gone the harder it is with all of the unforseen problems most folks come home to. All is smoothing out though. Spending some quality time up at my camp in the Adirondacks has helped tremendously!
Business is extremely slow. Just barely enough to keep my biz partner Markie employed. It is not what I expected to come home to, but after seeing how bad some people have it, I can deal with it. I have been pulling military time at the Air Guard base to keep some coin coming in. It is nice to have options!!
I wanted to express my thanks to all on the Wall for all of the support and prayers extended to me and my family during my deployment to Iraq. It meant so much to me. A really awesome bunch of folks here on the Wall. I look forward to sharing some stories and drinks at a " Big Ugly" somewhere!
I have included a few pics of myself in Iraq and a few of me and my son up at camp. Thanks again to all of you!

Protecting the beers like they are on the endangered species list. Your method is about the best there is for keeping them cold, there's even the dog. No doubt you know the price of freedom.
Thanks for coming back safely and for making all of us proud. Thanks for the news and thanks Anthony for keeping us posted. Your son is a fine young man.

I really hope you can make it down to NYC for one of the Big Uglys . Bring that hoople Mark with you too . First few rounds are on me - we just gotta wait for Mark to take ciggy breaks outside0 -
Darin, First Id like to say that Im so glad the good lord heard our prayers and brought you home safe and sound. Thanks once again for your service to our country. Bless you Sir.
I noticed a post the other day that I think was stating you visited N&S in Catskill, NY? I could throw a stone from our office in Catskill to N&S. Im telling you this because I want you to know given the opportunity I would consider it an honor to take you and your family to dinner and to thank you in person for being the wonderful individual you are.

Welcome back to the world...
Glad you are here and in one piece. Maybe I will get to meet you in person as I'm passing thru the 'Dacks on the way up to my brother's, or at a Big Ugly or some other festivity. If you're planning to visit NAOHSM in May in Hershey, PA, look me up at the Honeywell booth, drag Mark along, just don't say anything about Baltimore to him. Drinks are on me!0 -
Thanks Darren & take the time to unwind...
I appreciate your, and all of your fellow service members, service; and am glad that you returned safely.
Take the time you need to readjust to civilian life. I am very glad that you are taking the time you need with your family first.
I spent 6 years in the navy - and on a ship that was deployed 9 months of the year (and living on a ship sure is a strange life anyway). When I got out it took at least a year to get readjusted. I am sure that you will need a similar time. Many people do not understand how different deployed life can be - and I'm not claiming to understand all the stresses and strains of Iraq or Afganistan duty.

Thank you
Thank you Darin for your service to our great country.
Take the time you need to readjust. I don't pretend to know or understand being deployed to Iran but I did spend 10 years in the Navy on ships deployed for 9 to 11 months. Those "cruises" can take its own toll on family life. It took about a year after I got out to settle into civilian life again.
Welcome back!!!

Thanks Again!
Such a great bunch of folks here. I will indeed hop on the train and come down to a NYC Big ugly in the near future and a take a ride for a North Shore Ugly. Many of you I have known online for quite a few years but would love to meet in person. Alan M - would love to meet up for dinner with you, we will have to make some plans. Devan - all leads are of course appreciated, maybe we could have a upstate Big Ugly for all of us Wallies here in the Capital Region. Alot of good hearts here and it makes it such a special place! Semper Hydronicus!!!
