We are all just a keystroke away....How are you doing these days, Mark? How is Maddog doing? Anyone else?

My grandma is close to the end. Beautiful lady. wish I could have seen her more, but she is miles away. Business is booked almost through the summer. I have a full-time helper now. Life is good here. SWEAR to play more golf this season...

    Businesswise

I wish I could say the same. Not a lot of activity on the radar for the upcoming summer although we have been pretty swamped with service and a few changeouts due to the -0* temps.

I am doing well, thanks for asking.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother.

    Matt is doing well.

Funniest thing. I met Matt at the first Jim Davis CO seminar I attended in Philly. Just sitting at the bar in the hotel(imagine that!) and we started talking. We really hit it off. I mentioned this site to him and a year or so later he pops up. We have been best friends ever since. We get to see each other at least once a year. The first Wetstock was a blast!!! Murph and I met up with Matt at A1 plumbing supply in Bawston. Matt was buying radiators for the new steam system he was putting in his house. BTW, if any of you ever get the chance, stop buy A1 plumbing. If you want to look at some OLD CI rads, that is the place.

The first Wetstock was AWESOME! To meet face to face the folks that post regularly here was a REAL treat. Matt and I had not seen each other for some time so we had a BUNCH of catching up to do. Well.....one thing lead to another and MAtt and I got into a bit of "rough housing". Matt ended up chasing me through the hotel lobby and as I passed the registration desk, I knocked a chair over in Matt's path to slow him down. (Forgot he played football) He hurdled that with no problem but I got out the front door ahead of his reach. I would have escaped unscathed if not for the damn junipers adorning the front entrance!!! Subsequent tackle and "charlie horses to the leg". Thankfully I had consumed a large amount of pain killer so I felt nothing. (BTW DAWG! You have a beetin' coming!)

Point is, this "Wall" has produced friendships that I would otherwise have never had. Scott Milne tried to screw me out of $20 the first time I met him at Wetstock 1. Love that guy!!! Steve Weiland tried to set me up with a nice girl in Baltimore at Wetstock 2. Uhh.......like that guy. (Kiddin! Love Steve!)

Mark Eatherton........sat and had a couple adult beverages with him at Wetstock 1. If ya' ever get a chance to sit and talk to Mark E, DO IT!

Pat "Alaska Time" Clark!!! Let me crash with him on our first and only date, Wetstock 2. (Alaska folks are easy!)

Chris "JCA" Aiello......What a pro! Darin and I got to spend some QT with Chris when we traveled to Mass. Chris gave us a tour of the home he was working on then. He is just awesome!

I could post a 10,000 word post here and I still wouldn't be able to mention everyone I have had the honor of meeting over the years. BTW, I met DH at a "Dead Men's school" BEFORE I even knew who DH was. That class was amazing!

Great bunch of people here. My life is fuller because of The Wall.

    It IS cool here.

I met Don "Grumpy" Walsh at Rehau in 2002, and he urged me to get on here (it took a few years). We talk regularly.

Mad Dog is fun to Email.

Got hooked up with Constantin and visited he and his wife; very nice people.

Missed Brad White in person, but keep in touch by Email.

This place is good for all. Thanks Dan H. and all. Jack

Mark, Darin, Mad Dog and others:

I wish I could convince you guys to come to this week's Big Ugly NYC.
I know it would be a total pain in the ****, but we would tear it up pretty good, I'm sure.

    I notice....

A reply that has been deleted. It was posted overnight and by (I think) someone I know....

B/Capt. It really isn't what you think.

There have been some honest PROFESSIONAL connections made here..that lead to an honest and life saving exchange.

Mark meant NOTHING more than that.

His PASSION to sparing lives from the nightmare being CO, is just that.

His other passion is to TEACH those that are willing and able to help serve the cause....HOW to do it...right.

Call it what you will, but Mark has been more helpful to more folks than you or I will EVER be able to... in this capacity, and knows the folks that follow.JCA
