the pressure in the boiler depends on how high your piping goes. The norm is 12psi for two story or less.
As for the high limit of the boiler that to depends on your heatloss of home on the coldest day of the year and,
the emitter.

Pressure for Loop Hot-Water Heating system
Recently (as always), I've had trouble maintaining a 65 F temperature in my older Loop Hot-Water heated home on 10 F ambient days. I bled the air and raised the water pressure. My Peerless boiler has a maximum pressure rating of 30 psig and there's a 30 psig pressure relief valve installed. At what pressure (cold and/or hot) should I charge the system? Is there a maximum temperature I should set?0
