Instant electric water heat with radiant

Well, I made it through a cold February with my Greenwood (POS) outside hydronic furnace and am thinking about replacing the Viessman Vitola200 with a tank and high efficiency electric heaters. Seems to me that the HX cannot transfer the heat from one boiler to another quick enough, especially when 4 zones come on. And even one zone can kill it, if it's the basement (1,200 []) zone. The Greenwood only holds like 10 gals, and I am figuring that with a say 600 gal tank, the OWB can go out and I would still have plenty of hot water for my radiant.

Is there anything I need to be aware of when it comes to combining a tank and electric heaters? To a homeoner like me, electric hot water heaters would have seemed highly uneconomical, but it sounds like these new ones should work great with a tank of preheated water.

PS Not sure if I am supposed to do this here, but does anyone know a good technician for this stuff in the Oneonta NY area?
