Before & after

Nice job. No need for bypass on the second manifold with 2 loops? See you have it piped, but looks like it's shut off. What circs? Look like 15-58? Low speed setting?

No comment on the original 12 gauge romex wiring for the circulators.

Oops, I guess that was a comment :)

  • New heating plant before & after

Just put the finale touches to this new heating plant .
This job took 2 days to complete from start to finish .
First day was to prep. new system so i could come back the following day & install new system .
The hard part was getting it down stairway by my lonesome .
I have 2 baseboard loops ,indirect h.w.h & 2 low temp radiant zones using the mixing module & injection .
This baby really performs well I just love this product & the staff at buderus .

    Excellent Job!

    I LOVE level pipes!

Thats a smart looking install. Painted wall, unistrut, very nice. The pex looks a little wild, but from your post that was already installed I assume.

Thats a job to be proud of.

    looks great

Just curious as to why the boiler was replaced. The old installation looks rather new. I have a feeling there may be a good story there...

I assume the lower Taco panel is the control for the injection pump? I usually use Wirsbo(Uponor) or Tekmar. I have used the Taco circ zoning boards before and they really have a nice heavy cover!

Good looking install, if you were by yourself those must have been 2 long days....

  • why new boiler

Cosmo there is a good story behind this job. The home owner had a company come in for annual service before heating season and tech had punch a couple of holes in chamber ( dry base boiler) and never said a word , so now boiler runs and next tech the following year comes in to do annual and tells cust. the chamber and base has a hole burnt thru the back and it will cost big bucks to replace .I was called to give my opinion on what he should do repair or replace the unit.

what state is this installed in....

it is a clean looking job, but in my state we have to use 5/8" fireproofing about heating systems. is that code the same where this install was performed. also, i don't see a thermal firomatic switch above the system. maybe it's out of the camera sight, not sure. good job .
