Honeywell PA404A1033

I am curious if my Honeywell PA404A1033 has a mercury switch? The last pro (listed from this site) came and installed it parallel to the pressuretrol instead of perpendicular (as suggested by Dan and others).
If he did it wrong, can I just readjust it myself?
Thanks.

If it has mercury in it,
You can see the mercury glass bulb through the clear front panel.

so..
If I do not see or find any mercury in it, does that mean the Pigtail can be installed either way?

Pressuretrol uses a snap action switch so the orientation of the pigtail is not critical to accuracy.0 -
"pigtail" is a steam trap (siphon loop). If installed on steam the loop should be vertical and oriented front to back. The loop prevents steam contacting the diaphragm. And the loop also attempts to overcome thermal movement of the trap and the switch. Switch movement due to heat would only affect the mercury type. Mercury switches seem destined to become a thing of the past.0
