Zone valve for 1/2\" pex

Three floors of U-F, two loops per floor front and rear. Single stat per floor with zone pumps. 2nd floor rear faces south with alot of glass, central stat is nearby. Front north facing bedroom suffers.

I would like to cut in mini zone valves to the 1/2" pex returns and add wireless thermostats. Not a lot of room between the return manifold and ducts above. I do have some room on the supply pex's though. Any suggestions as to valve mfgr. and wireless stat mfgr??

Thanks in advance, Tom Goebig

    zoning

I think a brass manifold would probably be cleaner and easier than cutting in a bunch of zone valves.

I was trying to avoid cutting into the piping if possible. I'm only zoning two of the six loops. Uponor makes a 3/4" sweat zone valve compatible with their zone control module. My first option is to cap the two returns at the existing manifold, tee in a two loop return manifold with actuators upstream of the existing manifold, tie in the pex's, and use their zone control module. I was trying to avoid all that.

Any ideas on the wireless stats?

    Thanks
