This morning.

There was a run on bread and milk.

Balmy 37° right now.

Don't ya just love us Southerners? Just the threat of snow locks us up..... I can't imagine that much snow.

    Finally getting snow


    I've made two passes already down the driveway. First time there was only about 6", the last time there was 10" more and it's falling VERY hard right now.

    Weather folks say we're looking at 30"+ so I guess I'm half-way home.

    Not nearly as much as the folks in Oswego, 130"+ in 10 days.

    We have a nasty

    mix of Sleet, rain and snow, about 6 inches deep. I took today off. Not wanting to damage the van. I have family just south of Oswego in Phoenix, NY. I called them they didnt get as much as Oswego by a large margin. Thank goodness. I know you guys up North are better equipped to deal with the white stuff than we are, butit's still dangerous stuff. Remember the Ice storm NY had years ago that tore down all the electric lines. Power was out for months for some folks. My Uncle in Canton still had 5 inches of Ice in April. I told him to buy some golf shoes with spikes so he could walk around. You all stay safe out there. WW

    Hey WW.

    Only 6" in Damascus? 3+" sleet & ice here in Adams-Morgan. All the guys made it in. 3 calls all day. All for hot water. Go figure. Now, if only the supers clean off the boiler room steps & oil fills. This stuff will be concrete by morning. Please watch your step.

    all snow right here in Western Mass

    Just came in from plowing my yard. 20 degrees and a little windy right now. Still forecasting 3-5 more inches in blizzard conditions this evening. Hope it doesn't materialize. the 15 we have so far is just plenty. .... Ruthe

    Second time snowblowing today

    Blew about 8 inches off this a.m., and just now blew off about ten. In the 25 minutes of blowing just now, almost two inches covered the earliest parts I did. I'm in Lake Placid.

    There is a band heading my way right now that is dropping 3"/hr and it will be heading your way after that. Might diminish before it reaches you(that would indicate that I got dumped on) but this is a powerful storm.

    I'll do my driveway tomorrow. Looks like 16+ inches.
    Just working around the house today.
    Been married 17 years today, I remember wedding day like it was yesterday.
    It was a record 60* day and sunny.

    Don't even talk to me !!!

    I soent the day at Logan Airport ......... We had a 12:00 flight to Florida and it was dealyed three hours.

    THEN we GOT ON THE PLANE ... and sat for an hour while they told us we were next to be de-iced.

    THEN they told us to GET OFF the Plane because the flight was cancelled ............ AAARRGGGHHH

    My Freakin vacation ..........

    I spent the friggin day at LOGAN AIRPORT !!!!!!!!

    I am suppused to WARM right now and swimming in a POOL !!!

    We'll leave on Sunday .... oh well...

    I just blew out the driveway again. Three times now and it's still snowing.

    Man! I REALLY wish you were in Florida RIGHT NOW.

    lots of snow

    we have two feet all together if not more and with the wind blowing all the snow around it looks like my house is buried. ive had the last two day off of school and iam lovin it. perfect snow for the sleds.

    They could have got us out on Sat but it would have been two stop overs. With two kids and a wife who packs EVERY THING , I'll wait for the direct flight for Sunday.

    when i say "sleds" i am refering to the snomobiles. i was on them all day yesterdya and iam gettin ready for another day trp on them

    NJ got a real mix...

    Rain down south near Atlantic City, 6" snow up north, where I am we got about 3" of snow/rain/ice pellet goo that has frozen into a rock-hard skating rink this morning.
