Inner Workings of a Tiger-loop

Tigers.

Lots of them.

Kidding aside, the large float and relatively small orifice the float "boss" seals, when in the "down" position, allows circulation.

When the float "floats" (lifts), it uncorks the boss and allows vacuum to suck fuel, bypassing the re-circ action when the float was formerly down.

Look a it carefully. air vent atop. float. guide shaft, lower boss that "seals a tiny opening directly under the boss (which acts like a stopper. Ingenious, but simple.

    Tiger-Loop

What is the mechanics of a Tiger-Loop ? Seems like at first start up it pulls right from the tank and once it collects some oil in the reservoir , it will circulate around the loop and only pull from the tank what is needed to burn . I would like to open one up some day . Anyone know what is inside ?
