Hello all,
was wondering if anyone could help me,
I have a leak coming out of one the the pipe joints in the main floor of my house - I have shut down the heating system (boiler) as well as the main water supply to the entire house. well the leak stoped but now i have no water in my home. was wondering if anyone can tell me what i could do in order to restore the water to the house but still stop the water from leaking through the hole and flodding the house, for example drain the pipes to the radiators and shut off one of the system valves so that water would not fill the system at least untill i can get some one here to fix it

Many thanks in advance

    there

ought to be a shut off for the water to the boiler only. Usually on a 1/2" pipe. Take a look for that and then you can turn the water back on to the house. Post a pic. Maybe we can help you find it.
