    cast iron rads

    Anyone know where I can buy standing cast iron rads for a one pipe steam system? I'm located in the midwest.

    Heat loss of the room is about 8,000 BTU/hr. I am replacing a 6' piece of baseboard. Was hoping for something 38" tall and between 8" and 10" deep.

    Runs 33.3 SF EDR.

    A typical 38" High 3-column in the depth range you are talking about runs about 5.0 EDR per section. A large-tube type with 5 tubes per section will also run about 5.0 EDR per section. A 7-section if you can find an odd one would work but you may have to settle for an 8-section. That will run about 20 inches long, FYI at 2.5 inches per section.
