schematic help

I called; asked for, and recieved the owners manual for my father in law's boiler the V-33. After viewing the schematic for the plumbing I am having trouble with one symbol. It is the symbol that lays horizontal to the loop riser. It consitst of 3 dashes. One short and to the right of the center of the riser one long by 2X's and another short to the left of the riser. What does that mean ?

Not entirely sure without seeing the diagram
but a line broken with a single dash typically means domestic cold or city water:
_________________ _ _________________
Domestic Hot Water is usually two dashes:
________________ _ _ ______________
The relative distance/length to the dash and line you cite may just be due to the available space to draw the line at all.

No Fax.... Radio
Sorry Charles, No fax to which to fax the fix. Can you find a friend to find a fix instead of fax?
Can you scan the score and post the paper?"If you do not know the answer, say, "I do not know the answer", and you will be correct!"

Technical Block
Ok here is my situation. Right now I have to dn/ld new drivers to be able to scan the schematic onto my computer from my printer. My DSL is down and I am currently using my backup dial up service which makes dn/loading a long wait. So I will get back to you when all is up and running again. So please keep an eye open for my new posting.
Thanks again

double take
I am not having any luck with the drivers I dn/loaded but looking at the schematic again I can see that I didn't see it correctly. It looks more like all lines are centered and there is a short one on top and on bottom with a longer one in the center of the two short ones. Any help ?
Thanks Again!0 -
