Delayed hiss from vents

Hi all. New homeowner with a problem I can't figure. We have a one-pipe steam system with a brand new boiler. I've replaced most of the vents on the radiators over the past year or so. Here's the thing I can't figure -- the boiler will cycle off and then a few minutes later one radiator will hiss for several minutes. It's not always the same radiator either. What would cause this release of steam way after the boiler has stopped pushing out steam? Thanks!

Rob,
The radiator vents don't release steam, they release air, and close on temperature when steam hits them (to keep the steam in your radiators and vent the air out). When the boiler turns off and the steam stops flowing, the vents will let air back into the system, which maybe what you're hearing. "Faster" vents might help, not sure.
