    won't make vacuum

Assuming that the pump and controls operate, what is the return temperature as it enters the tank?

1-Does the tank have enough water for the (hurling) air pumps?
2- Are return lines leaking? Sucking sound if air pumps work and water leakage when air pumps are off.

    Check seals

and water level as noted. After 60 years, everyone has a leak problem it is written... I saw one years ago with a nice neat hole between the hurling tank and the main tank, just rotted out in a spot for reasons unknown but it was a steel tank, not CI. Can you check tank integrity?
