I like using the Buderus mix station, everything is there. But we do use the Taco 3 way I series valves quite often.

Four-Way Mixing Valve
I've been shopping around for a four-way mixing valve for my heating system and got into some sticker shock with some of them, particularly larger, bronze units.
This morning I happened upon a Honeywell Corona, which is a cast-iron 1.25-inch valve that retails for around $60. The motor is another $100. My piping on the zone in question is 1.25-inch copper.
That's a fraction of what I expected to pay.
Am I missing something?

I checked out the Taco website, but I couldn't find any of the 1.25-inch models for sale online. Do they make a cast-iron model?0 -
Check out buderus.net They carry a complete line of mixing valves, motors and mixing stations.
A 1.25" pipe will only need a 1" mix valve because of the temp difference. An oversized valve will hunt.0 -
