I would like to thanks every one on the wall for the last 1 1/2years support some of which most will never realize that they have given me .The last 1 1/2 years i have bee4n seperated from my wife due to immgration issue well it's has all finally come to a end with the return of my wife of 5 years to our home ,even though most would never think how some one could feel support through this site well beside all the kind words ,complements of work and such there are many smaller issue that float through the wall that you some times don't see.All that aside the wall has and did help fill a void and a depression from the seperation and promblem that we where going through. Not only is this the smartest site with the brightest minds and on the fore front of new techonology and installation methods but it is also filled with the best of the best when it come to human beings ,Thanks again to all who unknowling helped me through this very diffuiculttime ,Thanks peace and good luck Clammy

I've only been here 6 months, and am not sure how much I've helped (if any). A big "Your Welcome" if I have helped any.
I know what you mean about the value of having discussions with other intelegent and caring people. Most other forum sites are not so good.

Clammy,
So nice to hear that your family is back together again. Enjoy your lives together!
I have a very polite friend who also had issues with the INS/DHS. Some of the people that work in that agency really seem to enjoy their god-complex.
He had his newly-minted green card cut up and thrown away because he had the temerity to suggest that he was not born in 1927. The officer insisted that my friend had made the mistake on his application. Since my friend had a copy of his application there, he could show the case officer that someone at the INS had transposed the last two digits. Pissed off, the officer cut the card in two and threw it away.
My friend was invited to reapply next year. What a great way to make friends.
I imagine that some of your troubles ran in the same veins. So, congrats again on getting your wife back!0 -
Feb 19
I will be picking my wife up next monday feb 19 at newark airport and i hope when we get home she will be surprised ,being a man we aren't the neatest at least me so the past week or two i have been cleaning ,painting ,re doing floors and finally getting a bedroom set and a new bed ,curtains and all the trimmings >Through all of this we have spoken everyday and not missed oneday of hearing each others voices. As for helping me every post that i read or responded to has given me a chance to seperate my mind from what was really going on in my life .As for the immgration dept well i found most where just people doing there jobs and some that where just down right nice but like all things it only takes one bad apple to cloud up everything and throw a bad image into the works .Again i thank you all for the unknowming support and access into your own percepition of work, life and the world as you see it ,Thanks also to our excellent host Mr.H who has made this great site possible thanks Dan Peace and good luck to all ClammyR.A. Hey Clammy
Sorry to hear of your troubles, and glad to hear they are about to end. I'll be happy for you Feb 19th. Drop us a thread if you have the time. You're a good man to clean and paint the house. I would have hired some professional cleaners, or a guy with a high pressure sprayer. WW

What better reason to go to the airport, D - 9
I find it most amazing how much a cheesy smiley faced emoticon, attached to an internet conversation, can actually lift our hearts. Thanks Clammy, for sharing your good news with all of us - a test for love and life - it seems you escaped safely through the assault of book wielding and pouty faces that are the hallmark of bureaucratic institutions.
It may all be very technically artificial, but I find it very effective, and as far as spending time in good company, all this beats watching whatever's on color TV.

Good News!
Clammy, it's awfully nice when there's a wonderful ending to hardship. Love is powerful and enduring.

Remember...
We're all in this together! We're happy for you all. Trisodiumphosphate is an excellent cleaner(G). Wear gloves or your skin will suffer, but a tablespoon in a half-bucket-full of warm water and a grout sponge works wonders.
Here's a link to an article about the International Friendship House, a customer of ours. They may be of some assistance if anymore is needed. If you remember the Golden Vision folks, they were aided by this group.

I went to my friend's wedding and she's from Eucador and can't get use to the sub-zero weather here in Chicago... But she love those cast iron baseboards that I installed during the hot days of summer...

Hey Clammy!
Goodness she is lovely and Dan said it, you look like the happiest guy there! (She the happiest woman!)
If you want warm clothing, see if you can get her size. Never know what my Susan has in her closet (hint: shades of pink and red- "imagine that!" says she...) There is always a stream of "turn-over" in the closets here... if Deuzenita is near Susan's size (and I am a guy, I have NO idea what that is...) we might be able to send good stuff your way.
Point is, let's make her transition to our climate a warm, welcoming one!0 -
