let the cat out of the bag. One of the biggest suppliers here in the frozen north, has been titillating us with the news that a better then pex product will be launched soon. It sounds like this is it! HPDE tubing1 Wonder if it is gonna be reted for the exhaust on the mod.cons? :)~

I still am not a big fan of the layered tubing. Have heard of delamination occuring, scares the heck out of me!

Has anyone looked at the new tubing that Roth is offering..??? It has the EVOH burried in the middle of two layers of pex...This seems to be something that will take off like a rocket...Snce there is always discussion about EVOH...

Has anyone used this yet and if so what do you think...????

My contractor wants to use it in my new house...I think it a great idea...

Are you sure?

Is it PEX or HDPE? Hydronic Alternatives has a tubing extruded in Germany with a DOW product and it has the same EVOH in the middle of 2 layers of HDPE. I heard that other companies will have this soon. Do you have a link to the Roth tubing?

I went to a call on 56 of these units. I found all the units cycling off and on 3 minutes apart, on all of them ! I did ck gas pressures which were good and circ pump was not airbound ? I recommended to try primary / secondary piping ! I need to help this contractor. The domestic water worked fine. So I am looking for something general for all the units, as far as why the units all are doing the same thing, looking for a common factor. Anyone ever had anything like this , please get back to me thanks ed
