    Any good resource for a left hand 1 1/2" pipe tap? I have a peerless wall radiator that has stripped threads on the left supplies that have left hand threads rather than the right hand side which is right handed. How frustrating =)

    I have a set of rigid left handed thread dies and made short right / left hand nipples for that purpose. Hate to throw away those cast iron radaitors...

    I used to go this place (well to their old location) when I lived in Detroit. They used to keep vats of old drills and taps and you could just dig through and get whatever you want for next to nothing. Now they are more of a conduit for a wide range of low priced off brand and some brand tools. I gotten lots of left hand stuff from them but never needed pipe style, so I don't know.

    They are mail order, but don't have a very good web site. Call em up and ask.

    Brad, I'm sure you are looking for the thread about a 12" lefthanded pipe tipe.
