Does anyone have the drawing on sharing oil lines. It has to do with 2 oil fired appliances and the supply of one is tapped off the return of the other. This is so the oil pumps dont fight each other. Thanks for any help!!!

avoid
I don't have the diagram your looking for but I try to avoid having two appliances feed off one line unless it is gravity flow, then they shouldn't fight each other. This is set for single line now?0 -
Every burner works best with it's own suction line. A common return is ok. I saw a drawing of the system you mention but have never tried it andd can't remember where I saw it. I wouldnt recomend it though.

You
take the return line from unit 1 into suction port of unit 2.Return from unit 2 goes to to tank. Each unit needs its own oil filter and the return line must be deep into tank. I've done this many times over the years and never a problem.Lindy Lindveit wrote an article detailing this about 20 years ago in FOOH magazine.
