The crunchy snow

Ah yes, the return of that familiar sound -- crunchy snow. When temps fall below zero and a certain stillness pervades the Michigan landscape -- that's when you know that winter has arrived, albeit a couple of months late. I usually stay indoors during these times but every now and then it is "fun" to venture out and appreciate Mother Nature -- and to give her the respect she deserves. It is awesome to think about the various temperature extremes that she puts us through while at the same time being thankful that such extremes put a shelter over the heads and food on the table of HVAC contractors everywhere. Knowing that makes below zero temps more bearable. And heck, I'm just a lowly trade journalist!
Be safe my friends.

winter's snow
While I agree with you, John on the wonders of nature and the beauty of a fresh snowfall, if you want some more, we have enough here in Maine already. Come and get it. I, for one, have seen enough of it....is it fishing season yet????0
