Yes you can and the simplest way is to remove the pressuretrol and install a brass tee on the pigtail, use a short nipple and reinstall the pressuretrol. The branch of the tee should be looking at you. Use a back mount pressure gauge and install it in the branch of the tee. Make sure the pigtail has water in it before you button it up and voila.......Just a note...not my favorite place for a pressuretrol and gauge. Would rather see a tap off the boiler above the water line and a separate pigtail for each device, but you have what you have, so this will work. IF you have an old, steel pigtail, replace it with a brass one if you can.

My current pressuretrol sits alone on top of a McDowell unit.
