Because it feels so good when I stop. Your not alone a nearby submarine yard could not field try one of its new subs for a flow problem in on of it piping systems. finally they discovered that at the end of a shift someone stuck a rag in the pipe to prevent the collection of dirt and crap. Next shift failed to check pipe and kept on welding leaving behind the restriction.

Just finished my last dose of Bufferin to solve the pain of beating my head against the wall. Just installed a new steam boiler, on an existing (working fine system) to find the system was now flooding and leaking out the radiator vents near the end of the main. All new return piping, hartford loop, header, great pitch on the existing 2" main through out the basement, but flooding. As we un-threaded the return piping, the drop at the end of the main was blocked by one of those nice blue plastic thread protectors that come on the ends of black pipe. (Never looked inside new pipe to see if it was blocked). Someone playing a dirty trick. Figured I'd give the warning. Stay warm!!
