long radiant loops

That is EXACTLY what I have been looking to do to solve the cold spots in my radiant slab downstairs.

Can you guys point me to a place I can buy the motorized actuator, 4 way valve and the time delay relay?

    Long radiant loops

I was called in to look at a radiant job that is not working properly and discovered some very long loops. I remember hearing of a way to use a mixing valve to reverse the flow of water every so often to even out the temperature in the slab. Can anyone help me with the piping layout for this?

    Thanks

    the best info

is in an article Siggy wrote in the 04 April issue of PM Mag titled "The Long Way Around" www.pmmag.com. It's in the Archive there.

It has pictures, drawings, and the math behind the concept.

Local supply house? That would be the hardware store around these parts and about all you get from there is basic heating and plumbing supplies. Mention radiant floor heat and you get the deer in the headlights look lol.....

Going off the pics from the article on PM website does anyone by chance know the mfgs and part numbers for the motorized 4 way valve and the two position motorized actuator?

If so that would be great because then I could just search and order off the net.
