Now this? Lighting a 2-yr old furnace's pilot??? How many standing pilot furnaces are actually out there new today? Just how could this much gas accumulate?? My thought is she was usig a gas range with a couple burners on and when the gas was restored, the burners were still on the entire time, waiting for an ignition source. What a tragedy. Any ideas? Yesterday the gas was 'undetectable'.
