Buderus heats on occasion...

Our Buderus boiler heats water only 2 or 3 times a day. The water runs cold after 1 shower and won't reheat for a few hours. Any suggestions? One heating contractor said it's probably the aquastat relay that needs to be replaced. He could not be certain that replacing the part will fix it. $350 later... Does this sound right to you?

    Can you post some photos of the system? Is this a new problem?

    I can't send pictures but it is about 8 years old. It's a Buderus Logana G_205 (so it says on the front). It started acting up back in November.

    taco or argo control? i had a call doing the same thing different boiler then yours but same problem. i canged the relay for the water tank and everything ok.
