With a few years of durability testing, the diesel version could make one heck of a prop airplane engine. Who wouldn't love a plane with a powerplant that was that small, light, simple and smooth. It would be fun to see a 500+HP version of this.

sticking it in a car or truck and running it on bio or veggie?
Heck, even on regular deisel the power/weight should get great milage.0 -
way too much sliding friction to be efficient. also, seal problems like the Wankel rotary engine as used in Mazda cars.0
