I don't sell Buderus, but I service a couple of DV units with the BF burner. I have had no issues besides just your normal wear and tear.

    Buderus/ Riello------Balanced flue installs

    Good Morning,

I am curious if any "Wallies" have any experience with Buderus G115 product with balanced flue installs using Riello. Any feedback, pluses or minuses, would greatly be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Bill

First recommdations....I would not use a BF Riello on a chimney job.I like the Riello made for Buderus. Bolt it in and fire it and all your reading are perfect...A BF burner is fussy. The CO2 changes with out door temperature. Need to play for a perfect Fire. The BF return line set up is also a hassle to put in...

I perfer a chimney over a direct vent Ten fold..

There are two dv set ups The Field one piece or Areo which is two..The Field is quieter but the Areo is less prone to cross contamiation.... Must check your local codes and place of location if you can install one... No inside corners or near windows ect....

Other then that I love the Buderus equitment and a Riello burner. And if I had to put in a dv it would be Buderus......Coil only I would use the Peerless..

So far, all of my experience with G115's and BF-3 burners has been positive. Over 5 years on each with the only problems being defective early style post purge modules.

I've used this unit for oil, fits in a 16 on center beam space , zero clearance and insulated , adjustable pre and post fan purge 2 manual reset hi limits , draft adjjustable across the breach ,and not noisey.Out of all the draft assest kit and direct vent kits i've installed and serviced i found this one pretty flexable also has 2 flue inlets for flexabablity.peace and good luck clammy

We have anumber of these out. The SS2 is a better unit but wait till you have the end of the pressure sensing tube plug up and the bolts spin. You can't push a wire through it. It has to be cleaned from the exhaust side. And the tube is welded in place so you have to cut it off and re-weld it. And it's stainless.

So far we've had two of these plug. The bolts spun on one. Definitely a major PITA. Other than that I like the SS2 power vent.

    been awhile

It,s been a while since i've had a call on one ,but i remenber when i installed them i pre planned dropping right out of beam space and i remote located the control box .But i remenber in the past fooling with them on jobs and needing a beer afterwards mostly because they where installed improperly and or mis applied for the applaication .I sometimes think if condensing modulating stuff with lp would be a better deal then all the hub bub with DV and draft assistanced oil fired espically since some have tanks in the ground that pre date the very first

hi i have had a fields control swg 2 stainless steel power venter on my buderus g115 for one year now and have had no problems.

and before i installed a boiler in this house i had fha furnace i had a power venter on that for 5 years with no problem.

the only trick i think works great with them is make sure you oil it 2 times a year not once

    thanks
