Warm rooms, cold rooms.....

We got some wireless thermometers for Christmas, and are validating our earlier belief that some rooms in our house are WAY warmer than others....we have lived in this house for 18mos and have had this problem continuously even though we have turned the 3 wing nuts on the ductwork to "summer" and "winter" with the seasons. Apparently there is more that can be done, because the heat is still very different from room to room even on the same level. Am I supposed to be doing something other than turning the wing nuts?

you can try

running the blower continuously when home or have the system balanced by a pro balancer, that's what those dampers are for--balancing

when the blower shuts off no air is moving or blending

how far off are the rooms from each other??
